The Big Fresno Fair has announced its 2025 Board officer positions for the 21st District Agricultural Association, which were confirmed during the Board’s January 28 meeting. The newly elected officers are: Gary Chahil, President; Frank Flores, Vice President; and Jerry Pacheco, Secretary/Treasurer.
“The Big Fresno Fair Board is dedicated to enhancing both the Fair and fairgrounds for current and future generations,” said Christina Estrada, CEO of The Big Fresno Fair. “Our 2025 officers will lead with passion – strengthening community connections, elevating the Fair experience and expanding our impact across the region. We’re grateful for their leadership and for the continued dedication of our entire Board in preserving this cherished tradition and vital gathering place.”
These officers will serve in their respective roles through January 2026. Founded in 1884, The Big Fresno Fair is the 5th largest fair in the state of California and represents the 21st District Agricultural Association. On average, 500,000 people from throughout the state visit The Big Fresno Fair each year, making it the largest annual event in the Central Valley – and a beloved family tradition.

The Big Fresno Fair is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors. Current Board members are: Gary Chahil, President; Frank Flores, Vice President; Jerry Pacheco, Secretary/Treasurer; Linda Mae Balakian Hunsucker; Terry Gonsalves; Annalisa Perea; Chuck Riojas; and Lawrence Salinas. Christina Estrada heads the Fair’s daily operations in her role as CEO.
The 2025 Big Fresno Fair will run October 1 – 12. The coming months will bring announcements regarding discounts, concerts, attractions, competitive exhibits and more.
