The Hmong Cultural New Year Celebration is happening now through Sunday, January 1 from 9 a.m. –  5 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds!

Join us daily as we celebrate the tradition with live entertainment, vendors, fun competitions and so much more. General Admission is $12 then seniors 62+ and military (with ID) are $8. Plus, kids 5 and under are free! Come celebrate and learn about Hmong culture!

The Hmong Cultural New Year Celebration RETURNS to the Fresno Fairgrounds beginning Thursday, December 29 through Sunday, January 1 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.! Join us daily as we celebrate the tradition with live entertainment, vendors, fun competitions and so much more. General Admission is $12, seniors 62+ and military (with ID) are $8. Plus, kids 5 and under are free! Purchase tickets online only NOW – December 28 and save $2 on admission. Come celebrate and learn about Hmong culture!

Can you believe that 2023 is just 13 days away!? Which means that the 2023 Big Fresno Fair is just 289 days away! What do you look forward to the most? Fair Admin Office Closed for the Holidays | December 16 – January 2

The Big Fresno Fair Administration Office will be closed for the holidays beginning Friday, December 16 and will re-open again to the public on Monday, January 2. If you need immediate assistance, please call (559) 650-FAIR, leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

Fresno County Historical Museum Open to the Public | December 17 and January 1

Fresno County Historical Museum Special Hours

The Fresno County Historical Museum will be open for two special days on Saturday, December 17 and Saturday, January 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visit this award-winning museum and learn about Fresno County’s rich history and cultures with incredible artifacts and photos! Admission is free but donations are welcome!

Hmongstory Legacy Project at the Fresno Fairgrounds | December 17 – January 1

Hmong Legacy Project - Vinai: The Hmong Refugee Experience

Learn the history of Hmong heritage by visiting the “Vinai, the Hmong Refugee Experience” in the Commerce Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds from Saturday, December 17 through Sunday, January 1 (closed December 24 & 25). This immersive and transformative exhibit will display photographs, stories, fine art and artifacts of the journey and experience of the Hmong in refugee camps throughout Thailand beginning in 1975 after the fall of Laos. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Exhibit and parking are FREE to the public – just park in the Chance Ave. parking lot.
