Foam Glow 5k Packet Pick-Up Information

ATTENTION Foam Glow 5K participants! Packet Pick-up is today from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Gate 2, off of Chance Ave (closest to Butler Ave).

 

If you are unable to attend Packet Pick-up today, it will be reserved for you on Race Day for a $5 fee (cash only). To avoid paying this fee, please attend the Packet Pick-up today, or you can also send a friend with a copy of your race barcode.

Foam Glow 5k This Weekend! | Saturday, March 26

Race to the finish line at the Foam Glow 5K on Saturday, March 26 at the Fresno Fairgrounds! Here’s what to expect the day of the race:

 

  • Registration opens at 5:45 p.m.
  • Pre-Party starts at 6:45 p.m.
  • Race starts at 7:45 p.m.
  • After-Party ends at 9:45 p.m.

 

Runners/walkers will run through different color foams in the Foam Glow 5K Zones, with each color that glows in the dark under their high-intensity black lights! Once the race ends, there will be a Foam Glow 5K after-party filled with music, food and more! For more details, click here.

Tune In & Tune Up This Weekend | Saturday, March 26

Having trouble passing smog and registering your car? Then join us at the Fresno Fairgrounds for the Tune In & Tune Up event on Saturday, March 26 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Kings Canyon Lot. Valley residents can get a free emissions test. If your car fails the smog test, those eligible will receive a $500 voucher to use at a local smog shop for repairs. Gates may open as early as 6:30 a.m. Please expect a 2+ hour wait.

It’s National Agriculture Week!

It’s the beginning of National Ag Week and what better way to celebrate than to highlight our hard-working livestock exhibitors! Did you know that a total of 818 exhibitors from 26 different 4-H and FFA groups participated in the 2021 Big Fresno Fair Livestock Exhibits? Many of these members participated in the Jr. Livestock Auctions on October 9 and 16 at the 2021 Big Fresno Fair.

 

Fun Fair Fact: A total of 648 animals were sold at the 2021 Big Fresno Fair, generating a grand total of $1,169,256.93 in sales and add-ons!

Don’t Miss Your Chance to Submit Your Entries into the SJVOOC

Entries are still being accepted for the 7th annual San Joaquin Valley Olive Oil Competition for all commercial olive oil producers in California! But don’t wait! Deadline to submit entries is Friday, March 25 at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Winners will be announced on Thursday, April 14. Awards will be given out for Best of Show, Best of the Valley – as well as Gold and Silver medal winners.

Livestock Exhibitor Update: YQCA Platform Transition

Attention Livestock Exhibitors! The YQCA program has recently updated their certification program and website platform. This new platform is expected to launch on March 23, 2022.

 

With this new transition, all YQCA users who plan to use their current and valid certification for the 2022 Big Fresno Fair will need to download their certification prior to the transition on March 23. YQCA users will no longer be able to access their existing accounts and past certification information after the March 23 deadline.

 

⚠IMPORTANT⚠YQCA users that do not retrieve their valid certification from the current YQCA platform before March 23 may be required to regain certification through the new platform.
