Every exhibitor has a story, and we’re excited to share a few as we count down to the Jr. Livestock Auction 🐐
Meet Emma Hall, a Reedley FFA exhibitor from Reedley High School:
“I got involved with FFA because, before high school, my parents had told me that they had shown animals like pigs at their local fairs. I thought that sounded fun, so I gave it a shot and enjoyed it. After showing that chicken, I realized how fun it could be if I just participated, which led me to participate more and more in the program till I reached where I am today.
FFA holds a very special place in my heart, as I met many people, I would consider very close friends and some even family. I found a place where I feel like I belong, and everyone in FFA is such a kind and honest person that I strive to be like. Furthermore, FFA is something I truly enjoy. I’m very competitive, and FFA really nurtures that with all their competitions while also teaching me to be a good sport and encouraging me to study topics I didn’t even know I was interested in!
This year I am showing a Boer goat named Douglas! Douglas and I work very hard every day on training and showmanship. Through all the hardships we’ve faced, Douglas is still going strong! He is currently 4 months old and is growing up to be big and strong.”
Help support Emma and fellow 4-H and FFA exhibitors by participating in the Jr. Livestock Auction as a buyer or through an add-on bid. Every contribution makes a difference.

Meet one of the dedicated exhibitors working toward this year’s Jr. Livestock Auction 🐖🐄🐑
Hayden Gragnani, a Kerman FFA exhibitor from Kerman High School, is putting in the time and dedication as they prepare for this year’s auction. Here’s their story:
Hayden joined their school’s FFA chapter at the start of their high-school career in hopes of making a real difference in the world’s most important industry. Participating in The Big Fresno Fair is one step on their path to becoming an ag teacher to further inspire that change and share their knowledge, starting in 2030!
For the 2026 Big Fresno Fair, Hayden is putting on the pressure with goat for market, showmanship, and to reclaim the top spot in the costume contest!
