CV Reptile Expo This Weekend

The Fresno Pet & Reptile Expo is heading to the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7! Located within the Commerce and Agriculture Building – explore dozens of reptile and pet vendors, live animal shows, workshops, giveaways plus more! Saturday hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Single and 2-day passes available. Parking is $10.

Office Closed in Observance of Memorial Day | Monday, May 25

Each and every Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service of our country. In observance of Memorial Day, the Fair Administration Office will be closed today and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

Showcase your talent in our popular Competitive Exhibits Program at the 2026 Big Fresno Fair! All individuals desiring to participate competitively as a Fair exhibitor – such as 4-H and FFA members, craftsmen, cooks, gardeners, seamstresses, quilters, artists, photographers, potters and others – can download a section of our 2026 Competitive Exhibits Handbook here!
 
All entries MUST be submitted online. Deadline for entries is Monday, September 7 by midnight.

The Starting Gate will have special hours on Monday, May 25 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in observance of the three-day weekend!

 

The Starting Gate is located on the 2nd floor of the Grandstand at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Hours are Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is free on Thursdays and $10 from Friday to Sunday. Plug Stop Shoe & Clothing Expo Heads to the Fresno Fairgrounds | Sat, May 23

Head to the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 23 for the return of the Plug Stop Expo, a clothing and sneaker expo! Take a stroll through the Commerce Building to check out the hottest sneakers, clothing plus so much more. Hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free! Parking is $10 in the Chance Ave. lot.

One of regional Mexican music’s most influential groups, Los Tigres del Norte, will close out the 2026 Table Mountain Concert Series presented by Modelo Especial, Toyota and FoodMaxx on Sunday, October 18! Tickets start at $39.

 

Tickets for our BFF Club Members are on sale NOW until Sunday, May 17 at 11:59 p.m. During this time, any BFF Club member who purchases a Fair concert ticket can also purchase a Fair admission ticket for 50% off; discounted admission and concert tickets must be purchased in the same transaction. Preakness Stakes This Weekend! $2 Million in Prize Money!

On Friday, May 15, The Starting Gate will open at it’s normal time of 10 a.m.!

It’s time for the Preakness Weekend! Join us on the second floor of the Grandstand of the Fresno Fairgrounds on Friday, May 15 for the 102nd Black-Eyed Susan and on Saturday, May 16 for the 151st Preakness Stakes race! Gates open 10 a.m. on Friday and 7:15 a.m. on Saturday. The Preakness Stakes prize purse is $2 million! Here’s some other stake races you can check out while at The Starting Gate:

 

– May 16 | Louisville Handicap | $250,000

 

The Starting Gate is back on the second floor of the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand! Just enter through Gate 2 off of Chance Ave. Admission into The Starting Gate is $10 and parking is FREE – just park in front of the Grandstand.

 

Regular Starting Gate hours are every Thursday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and every Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
