It’s National Agriculture Week!

It’s the beginning of National Ag Week and what better way to celebrate than to highlight our hard-working livestock exhibitors! At the 2023 Big Fresno Fair, there was a total of 2,753 animals exhibited by 1,051 4-H, FFA and Independent students. A total of 856 animals were put up for auction at three livestock sales, raising more than $1.3 million with add-ons included. WOW! 🤩🐮🐔🐷

Submit Your Entries Into the 2023 Competitive Exhibits!

Showcase your talent in our popular Competitive Exhibits Program at the 2023 Big Fresno Fair! All individuals desiring to participate competitively as a Fair exhibitor – such as 4-H and FFA members, craftsmen, cooks, gardeners, seamstresses, quilters, artists, photographers, potters and others – can download our 2023 Competitive Exhibits Handbook here!

 

All entries must be submitted online only. Deadline to submit is Friday, September 8 by midnight.

It’s National Farm Animals Day!

🎶 Big Fresno Fair had a farm, E-I-E-I-O 🎶 Happy National Farm Animals Day! Each year at The Big Fresno Fair, hard-working Livestock exhibitors enter their swine, cows, goats, sheep, chicken, turkeys and rabbits into the Livestock Exhibits Program to showcase and auction their animal projects!

Did you know that a total of 2,580 animals were exhibited and a total of 1,043 exhibitors from different 4-H and FFA groups participated in the 2022 Big Fresno Fair Livestock Exhibits? Many of these members participated in the Jr. Livestock Auctions on October 8 and 15 at the 2022 Big Fresno Fair. 🐮🐑🐐🐷🐔

 

Fun Fair Fact: A total of 806 animals were sold at the 2022 Big Fresno Fair, generating a grand total of $1.4 million in sales and add-ons! WOW! 🤩

Thank You to Our 2022 Livestock Buyers for a Record-breaking Year!

Drumroll please! 🥁 The numbers are officially in for the 2022 Livestock Auction and Sales, which took place both Saturdays of The Big Fresno Fair! A total of 806 lots of animals went through this year’s auctions and brought in a grand total of $1.4 million in sales and add-ons – making 2022 a record-breaking year! WOW! We are so amazed and proud of all of our hard-working 4-H, FFA and Independent exhibitors who participated in this year’s sale! 🐮🐷🐑🐐🐰🐔

 

Thank you to all of our buyers who supported the sales! You have positively impacted the lives of our 4-H, FFA and Independent students by supporting their animal projects and our overall sales! You are one of the bright lights in our community! We can’t wait to beat this year’s sales record in 2023 with your help! 👏

Dairy Heifer and Dairy Replacement Doe Inspections – NEW DATE!

Attention Dairy Cattle and Doe Exhibitors! The NEW date and times for the dairy heifer and replacement doe inspections has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 9 in the Livestock Pavilion.

 

– Dairy Heifer | 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

– Dairy Replacement Doe | 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
