Calling all Fresno County 4-H and FFA Exhibitors! If you plan on being part of the 2024 Jr. Livestock Auction, then we want to feature YOU! Leading up to the auction, we will be featuring different 4-H & FFA Exhibitors, as well as Independent Exhibitors, from participating clubs and chapters to highlight their animal project and all their hard work, while also giving buyers and our community a glimpse of animals they can bid on! The 2024 Big Fresno Fair Livestock Auction begins Saturday, October 5 at 10 a.m. and Dairy Replacement Heifer Sale at 6:30 p.m. with Phase II of the auction happening on Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m. The Livestock Auction will feature over 500 animals from dedicated and hard-working 4-H and FFA members throughout Fresno County. It’s the beginning of National Ag Week and what better way to celebrate than to highlight our hard-working livestock exhibitors! At the 2023 Big Fresno Fair, there was a total of 2,753 animals exhibited by 1,051 4-H, FFA and Independent students. A total of 856 animals were put up for auction at three livestock sales, raising more than $1.3 million with add-ons included. WOW! 🤩🐮🐔🐷
