Fund A 4.0 Program Scholarship This Giving Tuesday!

Each year, The Big Fresno Fair gives away $100,000 in scholarships to hard-working 4.0 GPA Fresno County 8^th – 12^th grade students at our 4.0 & Above Program. These scholarships are made possible through generous community donations.

So, this Giving Tuesday consider funding a $1,500 4.0 & Above Program Scholarship to support a student’s bright future. It’s tax deductible and 100% of the money goes to the winning student.

The Fair Admin Office will be closed Thanksgiving Week beginning today through November 25. Our office will reopen on Monday, November 28.

Bridal Expo Happening Sunday, November 20

Engaged and planning your wedding? Then head to the California Bridal & Wedding Expo on Sunday, November 20 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the Agriculture Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds! This expo will feature an amazing selection of wedding professionals ready to help you find the perfect gown, reception venue, invitations, photographer, music, menu, honeymoon destinations plus much more! Plus, don’t miss the bridal fashion shows and live DJ demos, plus prizes and giveaways! Admission is free with online registration or $10 at the door.

Attention! Carnival Opens Earlier Tomorrow!

We know we have a lot of local students out of school tomorrow and because of that we have great news…our Main Carnival is opening early at 1 p.m. on Mon, October 10! That’s right, our big carnival rides will be up and running at 1 p.m. on October 10. The Kiddieland Carnival will open at 12 p.m. like normal.

So spend your day out of school at The Big Fresno Fair! Be sure to visit our Deals & Discounts page to take advantage of admission and carnival wristband savings!

Derby Dog Dash Returns! Enter Your Dog into the Small Dog Races!

It’s back! The Derby Dog Dash returns to the 2022 Big Fresno Fair on Saturday, October 15 in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand during live horse racing! Does your pup have what it takes to be the 2022 winner? Sign-up by Tuesday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m. to seal your spot in the race! For more details, click here!

Artist Change | Cruising with the Souldies

Due to unforeseen schedule conflicts, Russell Thompkins, Jr. and The New Stylistics will not be able to perform as part of the Cruising with the Souldies concert on October 8 in the Paul Paul Theater as part of the Table Mountain Concert Series.

In their place, soulful singer-songwriter Trish Toledo will perform. Her 60s and 70s era musical style will make this a great night of music! Cruising with the Souldies is hosted by Danny Trejo, and features Trish Toledo, Cota and Danny’s Angels. If you purchased tickets before the artist change, and would like a refund, please email boxoffice@fresnofair.com. Already purchased tickets are still valid for this slightly adjusted show.
