Discover the tapestry of Fresno County’s past come alive this Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fresno County Historical Museum and The Big Fresno Fair Museum. Experience award-winning exhibits showcasing historic artifacts and stories that highlight Fresno County’s heritage and the history of The Big Fresno Fair! Admission and parking are free! Just park along Chance Ave.  Audio tours are available to enhance your museum journey guided by our knowledgeable docents.

Spring Home & Garden Show Happens This Weekend!

Don’t miss the Spring Home & Garden Show happening this Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds! Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 60+ and kids 12 and under are free! Parking is $10 in the Chance Avenue parking lot and $12 for Preferred Parking.

2023 BIG FRESNO FAIR FUN FACTS

That’s a wrap! Thank you for an amazing 2023 Big Fresno Fair! We enjoyed seeing all of our BFFs back to enjoy the tradition of the Fair with lots of free entertainment, live horse racing, thrilling carnival rides, talented exhibit entries, tasty Fair food, new attractions plus everything else in between. Here are a few Fair Fun Facts from the 2023 Big Fresno Fair!

  • There was 34,140 minutes of free and entertaining strolling grounds acts to enjoy!
  • There was 20, 726 minutes of free entertainment on the five community stages!
  • The new Flippenout! Extreme Trampoline show did over 8,000 jumps during their 36 shows! That’s over 220 jumps per show!
  • 2,753 animals were exhibited at The Big Fresno Fair.
  • Chicken Charlie’s sold 4,000 of the new Flaming Hot Cheetos pot stickers, and sold 10,000 deep-fried chicken drumsticks. Best part is once the Fair is over, Chicken Charlie’s donated all leftover product to the Poverello House to feed our community! This is the 6th year they’ve been doing this!
  • Fruit Caboose used over 400 lbs. of bananas and over 4,000 ice cream cones!
  • Fabulous Fanny’s Funnel Cakes used 2,080 lbs. of fresh strawberries during this year’s Fair!
  • Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls (all three stands) used 31,000 lbs. of flour.
  • This year also marked Country Fair Cinnamon Roll’s 45 years of the local, family-owned and operated business!
