Sing the National Anthem at September Horse Racing!

National Anthem Tryout Competition Sing National Anthem at September Horse Racing Deadline to Submit August 1

Do you think you have what it takes to sing the National Anthem in front of thousands of passionate horse racing fans during Live Horse Racing? Then we want YOU to enter the first-ever National Anthem Tryouts Competition! Submit a video audition for the chance to sing the National Anthem during the Horse Races in September at the Fresno Fairgrounds!

To fully be considered, applicants must submit a video link AND complete the form on our website. All applicants must be 18 years of age to tryout. We will select seven singers for each day of horse racing. Deadline to submit videos and forms is Thursday, August 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Have You Heard? Horse Racing Kicks-off in September at the Fresno Fairgrounds!

Have you heard? We’re bringing 14-days of live horse racing to the Fresno Fairgrounds! The action of the track kicks-off early in September! Be sure to mark your calendars for these September race dates:

September Race Dates (pre-Fair):

Friday, September 13 – Sunday, September 15
Saturday, September 21 & Sunday, September 22
Saturday, September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Then, be sure to join us for regular horse racing during the 2024 Big Fresno Fair!

October Race Dates (during the Fair):

Friday, October 4 – Sunday, October 6
Friday, October 11 – Monday, October 14

Horse racing tickets will go on sale (online only) first to BFF Club Members starting Monday, July 15 at 10 a.m. and goes until Sunday, July 21 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public (online only) beginning Monday, July 22 at 10 a.m. A password will be sent to BFF Club Members on Sunday!

Know someone who’s not a BFF Club Member but would like to purchase their live horse racing tickets early? Tell them to sign up here! Plus, BFF Club Members can obtain FREE reserved seat tickets for September races!

BIG NEWS ALERT! 14-Days of Live Horse Racing Happening in 2024!

The Big Fresno Fair is excited to announce that for the first time, it will have 14 days of live horse racing, double the number of race dates held in 2023. The 2024 Fresno race dates will start in September before the annual Fair begins. Read our full release here.

The 2024 Big Fresno Fair race dates are as follows:

September Race Dates (pre-Fair):
- Friday, September 13 – Sunday, September 15
- Saturday, September 21 & Sunday, September 22
- Saturday, September 28 & Sunday, September 29
October Race Dates (during the Fair):
- Friday, October 4 – Sunday, October 6
- Friday, October 11 – Monday, October 14

Horse racing tickets will go on sale first to Big Fair Fan (BFF) Club members, as part of an online-only pre-sale starting on Monday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. and going until Sunday, July 21 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public (online only) beginning Monday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m.

BFF Club Members will receive their pre-sale password via email on July 11. Any new members will receive the password in their email sign-up confirmation. Know someone who isn’t a part of the BFF Club, but would like to purchase their live horse racing tickets early? Tell them to sign up for free here!

Large group and corporate party packages are available for purchase early; interested parties will need to fill out this form.

The following horse racing tickets will go on sale July 15 to Big Fair Fan Club members.
