J Live Entertainment will be holding auditions for their 2019 Big Fresno Fair Talent Competitions starting on Wednesday, August 21 at 6 p.m. at the Paul Paul Theater. Contests include:

– The 17th Annual Next Big Thing Talent Show – October 3
– Barber Battle – October 6
– Cantando Por Cantar (all Spanish talent show) – October 13

Check out Horn Photo’s “Clicking Caravan” on Thursday, August 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Fresno County Historical Museum located at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Clicking Caravan gives people the opportunity to take photos of the unique memorabilia around the FCHM. The Friday Night Swap Meet is back, indefinitely! Starting TODAY, July 12 the Friday Night Swap will take place every Friday in the Butler Parking Lot at the Fresno Fairgrounds from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Parking and admission is free!

The Sports Car Club of America, Fresno Chapter is hosting another action-packed weekend of autocross racing at the Fresno Fairgrounds Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bring your family out to the Carnival Lot on the north end of the Fairgrounds and cheer racers to the finish line or even race your own car! Spend your Saturday night in the Grandstands at the Fresno Fairgrounds for Jaripeo Baile de Media Noche on Saturday, July 13 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.! We need a few more community performers for this year’s Big Fresno Fair! We are currently looking for local choir groups, dance troupes, cultural performance groups and more to perform on our free community stages. Application deadline is extended to Monday, July 15!
