Fairgrounds throughout California and the US play a critical role in education. They serve as connection points between agriculture and our urban populations – telling the story of our food supply, providing education on the varieties of produce grown and harvested, the different livestock and characteristics, plus other traveling exhibits! Many kids will see their first cow or pig at their local fair. Or learn about all the varieties of grapes, apples and more!
At The Big Fresno Fair, we do this and more. We share the history of the Fair and Fresno County through our two Museums. We celebrate education and academic excellence through our 4.0 & Above Program, Big Band Review and Fair Education Program field trips!
For this and so much more…we are grateful for fairgrounds! We are screaming that from the rooftops during our Fairgrounds Appreciation Month.
