Anime Gaming Con Trail Blazer Expo

Head to the Fresno Fairgrounds’ Industrial Education building for the Trail Blazer Expo on November 16 & 17 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.! The special 2-day event will feature special voice actors, gaming tournaments, cosplay contests, vendors, artists and more! Tickets range from $12 – $40. Kids 10 and under are free with paid adult admission. Parking is free in the Chance Lot only.

Bridal Expo Happening Sunday, November 17 at the Fresno Fairgrounds!

The Starting Gate is back at its original location off Butler Ave. between Maple and Chance Avenues. The Fresno County Historical Museum is Open This Saturday! | November 16

Did you know that you can visit both the Fresno County Historical Museum and The Big Fresno Fair Museum for FREE every third Saturday of the month? Join us on Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a tour of these award-winning museums! Admission and parking are free, with parking available in the Chance Ave. lot. Enjoy audio tours and knowledgeable Museum docents to guide you through your visit.

The Valley Deaf Festival Happens This Saturday, November 16

Don’t miss the 33rd Annual Valley Deaf Festival on Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Jr. Exhibits Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds! This year’s theme is “Center of Deaf Wizardry: Chambers of Quadwizards” with featured entertainment, food, vendors, games, activities for kids and much more! Ticket prices range from $5 – $10; children 3 and under are free! This event is brought to you by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center. Parking is free.

The Monster Truck Nitro Tour is returning to the Fresno Fairgrounds in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand on Saturday, November 16! 🎉 Get ready to witness the power and thrill of 10,000-pound monster trucks as they battle it out in exhilarating races, show off their wheelies, and take the stage with jaw-dropping freestyle performances. Here’s a few things to know:

 

  • Show #1 | 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Show #2 | 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Tickets range $15 -$70 (plus fees)
  • Children 2 and under are free!

Auto Cross This Weekend at the Fresno Fairgrounds | November 9 & 10

The Sports Car Club of America, Fresno Chapter, is back with an exciting weekend of Autocross racing in the Carnival Lot at the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Experience the thrill of driving your car to the limit and compete safely in SCCA time trials! Spectating is FREE, so come out and enjoy the action!

Fresno Fall Home Improvement Home Show This Weekend!

Head to the 19th Annual Fresno Fall Home Improvement Show & Tiny House Expo from Friday, November 1 through Sunday, November 3 at the Fresno Fairgrounds! Meet licensed contractors, shop for home & garden products and services, tour tiny homes, check out local food, drinks and live music plus so much more! And NEW this year is the FREE gardening workshops! Here’s a few things to know before you go:

Thank You For An Amazing 2024 Big Fresno Fair!

And just like that, the Fair has come to an end! Thank you for joining us to create memories at the Fair! We enjoyed seeing all of our BFFs back to enjoy the tradition of the Fair with lots of free entertainment, live horse racing, thrilling carnival rides, talented exhibit entries, tasty Fair food, new attractions plus everything else in between. Here are a few Fair Fun Facts from the 2024 Big Fresno Fair!

 

  • There was 13,260 minutes of free and entertaining strolling grounds acts to enjoy!
  • There was 26,052 minutes of free entertainment on the five community stages!
  • 17,730 minutes of free entertainment in the NEW Aqua Pals Town, Alaskan Pig Races, Miners Town with the gold panning and NEW leather working station, and Chef Ray’s produce carving.
  • The new Off-Axis Stunt Show did over 150 stunts per show with 3 shows happening per day. That’s a total of 5,850 total stunts during the 13-days of the Fair!
  • The 14th Annual “Pint for a Pass” Blood Drive held in partnership with the Central California Blood Center took place from August 27 – October 14, and saw 9,655 people show up to donate with 7,040 successful whole blood donations! These donations can save up to 21,120 lives!
  • 3,922 animals were exhibited at The Big Fresno Fair.
  • Chef Ray carved 500 lbs. of produce!
  • Home Art had a record number of entries with 4,400 different entries submitted!
  • Fabulous Fanny’s Funnel Cakes used 1,600 lbs. of fresh strawberries during this year’s Fair!
  • Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls (all three stands) used 32,000 lbs. of flour.
  • This year also marked Country Fair Cinnamon Roll’s 46 years of the local, family-owned and operated business!
