Keep Up Those Grades and Mark Your Calendar for the 4.0 & Above Program This October!

Last chance for CURRENT 7th – 11th grade Fresno County students to keep those grades up to qualify for the 13th Annual 4.0 & Above happening Wednesday, October 2 at the 2024 Big Fresno Fair! Eligible students with a GPA of 4.0 and above as of the Spring 2024 semester will qualify! There are lots of prizes up for grabs for all qualified students PLUS a brand-new Toyota Corolla for qualified 9th – 12th grade students!

 

More information will be posted to our website here with details on how to register in the upcoming months. So be sure to turn in those extra credit assignments and keep those grades up so we can see you in October!

Sugar Ray is Headed to the 2024 Big Fresno Fair!

Double-Platinum artists, Sugar Ray are joining the line-up for the Table Mountain Concert Series presented by Modelo Especial and Toyota on Thursday, October 3! Ticket prices are $42, $32 and $22. This show joins the already announced: Walker Hayes; The Righteous Brothers, G-Eazy; and Dwight Yoakam!

 

Sugar Ray tickets for our BFF Club Members go on-sale ONLINE-ONLY on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. and goes until Monday, June 3 at 11:59 p.m. During this time, any BFF Club member who purchases a Fair concert ticket can also purchase a Fair admission ticket for 50% off; discounted admission and concert tickets must be purchased in the same transaction. Tickets to the general public will then go on sale online-only on Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m.

Auto Cross This Weekend at the Fresno Fairgrounds | May 25 – 26

Fresno SCCA Chapter

The Sports Car Club of America, Fresno Chapter returns for yet another action-packed day of autocross racing at the Fresno Fairgrounds (Carnival Lot) Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Drive your car at the limit and compete safely with SCCA time trials! This event is FREE to spectate.

It’s Preakness Weekend! Join us on the second floor of the Grandstand on Friday, May 17 for the 100th running of the Black-Eyed Susan and on Saturday, May 18 for the 149th Preakness Stakes race! Gates open 9:45 a.m. TODAY and 7:00 a.m. on Sat. 🏇 Here’s a few things to know before you go:

 

  • Admission is $6
    • VIP Seating available for additional $5
    • The Starting Gate is BACK on the second floor of the Grandstand
    • Parking is FREE! Just enter through Gate 2 off Chance Ave. and park in front of Grandstand

Fresno County Historical Museum Open This Saturday!

Fresno County Historical Museum Open Every Third Saturday of the Month

Looking for something fun and free to do this Saturday? Head to the Fresno Fairgrounds on May 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to check out our two award-winning museums, the Fresno County Historical Museum and The Big Fresno Fair Museum! In the Fresno County Historical Museum, learn about the rich history of Fresno County, different cultures and contributions, plus enjoy incredible artifacts and photos!

 

Admission and parking are free. Parking available in the Chance Ave. parking lot. Audio tours will guide visitors through the Museum, as well as Museum docents.
