Is your car struggling to pass emissions? Valley CAN has you covered! Join Valley CAN & San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for the Tune In & Tune Up event at the Fresno Fairgrounds’ Carnival Lot (off Cesar Chavez Blvd.) on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 a.m.

 

Things to know:

✅ FREE emissions testing
✅ If your car fails, get a FREE smog repair voucher
✅ First 500 qualifying vehicles will receive a $500 repair voucher at a participating STAR smog shop!

Calling all anime fans! Get ready for Anime-NIA at the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 12 & Sunday, April 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily in the Industry Commerce Building & Pavilion area. Check out cosplayers, TCG Card Competitors, workshops, Q&A panels, talent show, video game competitions and more!

Watch & Wager on the Road to Kentucky Derby Races!

The Road to the Kentucky Derby is underway with qualifying races happening on Saturday, April 5! Leading up to the 151st Kentucky Derby which will run Saturday, May 3 are a series of qualifying races that will determine which 20 horses will have a once in a life time chance to compete in America’s greatest horse race.

 

Big Races to Watch:

  • Blue Grass
  • Santa Anita Derby
  • UAE Derby
  • Wood Memorial
  • Lexington

 

Join in on the excitement and head to the satellite wagering facility, The Starting Gate to watch and wager! Hours are Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday – Sundays from 10 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Admission into The Starting Gate is $6 and parking is FREE!
