BIG NEWS ALERT! 14-Days of Live Horse Racing Happening in 2024!

The Big Fresno Fair is excited to announce that for the first time, it will have 14 days of live horse racing, double the number of race dates held in 2023. The 2024 Fresno race dates will start in September before the annual Fair begins. Read our full release here.  

The 2024 Big Fresno Fair race dates are as follows:

  • September Race Dates (pre-Fair):
    • Friday, September 13 – Sunday, September 15
    • Saturday, September 21 & Sunday, September 22
    • Saturday, September 28 & Sunday, September 29
       
  • October Race Dates (during the Fair):
    • Friday, October 4 – Sunday, October 6
    • Friday, October 11 – Monday, October 14

Horse racing tickets will go on sale first to Big Fair Fan (BFF) Club members, as part of an online-only pre-sale starting on Monday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. and going until Sunday, July 21 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public (online only) beginning Monday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m.  
 
BFF Club Members will receive their pre-sale password via email on July 11. Any new members will receive the password in their email sign-up confirmation. Know someone who isn’t a part of the BFF Club, but would like to purchase their live horse racing tickets early? Tell them to sign up for free here!

Large group and corporate party packages are available for purchase early; interested parties will need to fill out this form.
 

The following horse racing tickets will go on sale July 15 to Big Fair Fan Club members.

  • Reserved Seats (Single Day)
    • $6
    • BFF Club Members can get free reserved seat tickets for the September race dates just by filling out the request form that can be found here.
  • Box Seats (Single Day)
    • 4 seats for $32
    • 6 seats for $48
  • Turf Club
    • Table of 4 – $60
    • Table of 8 – $120
  • Luxury Deck (Tables of 4)
    • $175 – Includes Buffet

Celebrate America Happens June 30 at the Fresno Fairgrounds!

Mark your calendars as Cornerstone Church Presents: Celebrate America on Sunday, June 30 in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand at the Fresno Fairgrounds! Bring the family to enjoy a car show from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. and the biggest free firework show in the Valley at 8 p.m. This event is FREE for all ages! Parking is free in the Carnival Lot.

Become a vendor at the 2024 Big Fresno Fair, October 2 – 14! The Fair is looking for various vendors ranging from home and self-improvement items, sporting goods, collectibles, jewelry and much more! The application for NEW vendors is now available online.

Submit Your Entries into the 2024 Competitive Exhibits!

Showcase your talent in our popular Competitive Exhibits Program at the 2024 Big Fresno Fair! All individuals desiring to participate competitively as a Fair exhibitor – such as 4-H and FFA members, craftsmen, cooks, gardeners, seamstresses, quilters, artists, photographers, potters and others – can download a section of our 2024 Competitive Exhibits Handbook here!

 

All entries MUST be submitted online. Deadline for entries is Friday, September 6 by midnight.

Sunday Concerts Announced as Part of the Table Mountain Concert Series Line-up!

We have more exciting concerts added to our Table Mountain Concert Series line-up presented by Modelo Especial and Toyota for both Sundays of the 2024 Big Fresno Fair! Joining the line-up is El Flaco vs. El Mimoso on October 6; and Calibre 50 with Banda Carnaval on October 13.

 

Tickets for our BFF Club Members go on-sale ONLINE-ONLY on Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m. and goes until Sunday, June 23 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets to the general public will then go on-sale online only on Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m. Not a BFF Club member but want to get your tickets before anyone else? Sign up today here!

Test Your Luck at Our Satellite Wagering Facility – The Starting Gate!

Test your luck and wager via satellite every Thursday – Sunday at The Starting Gate located on the second floor of the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand! Wager on some of the largest tracks like Los Alamitos and Cal Expo Harness Racing. Here’s a few things to know before you go:

 

  • Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Thursday; 10 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Friday – Sunday
  • Admission is $6
  • No reservations required
  • Parking is FREE! Just enter through Gate 2 off Chance. Ave. and park in front of Grandstand
  • Food will be available on-site by Pardini’s Catering

Clipper Chaos Barber Expo Happens June 23 at the Fresno Fairgrounds

CLIPPER CHAOS BARBER EXPO

Clipper Chaos Barber Expo is headed to the Fresno Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 23 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Commerce Building! Join Clipper Chaos for a day filled with barber battles, live demos, education, networking opportunities and much more. Cost ranges from $30 – $200. Parking is $10 in the Chance Ave. Parking Lot.

Interested in performing at the 2024 Big Fresno Fair? The Fair is looking for entertainment to fill one of our free community stages, from bands and musicians, to dancer and other group performers!

Fresno County Historical Museum Open This Saturday!

Fresno County Historical Museum Open Every Third Saturday of the Month

Looking for something fun and COOL to do this Saturday? Head to the Fresno Fairgrounds on June 15 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to check out our two award-winning museums, the Fresno County Historical Museum and The Big Fresno Fair Museum! In the Fresno County Historical Museum, learn about the rich history of Fresno County, different cultures and contributions, plus enjoy incredible artifacts and photos!

 

Admission and parking are free. Parking available in the Chance Ave. parking lot. Audio tours will guide visitors through the Museum, as well as Museum docents.
