The “Pint for a Pass” Blood Drive Special Launch Event is on Tuesday, August 30 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds in the Commerce Building! Come out and help save a life and be entered-to-win concert and horse racing tickets, plus donors get free corns dogs and kettle corn (yum!). Sign-up online here to secure your appointment! The Big Fresno Fair and Central California Blood Center’s 12th Annual “Pint for a Pass” Blood Drive will run from Tuesday, August 30 until Saturday, October 15! The second annual Cen Cal Thrift & Vintage Expo returns to the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 27 in the Industry Commerce Building! Doors open at 11 a.m. for early admission and from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. for general admission. Shop vintage clothes and street wear, art, collectibles and handcrafted items! Tickets range from $5 – $30.

We’re excited to welcome back our partners in education for the return of the Fair Education Program, developed in conjunction with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and sponsored by Chevron, Meyers Water Bank & Wildlife Project, EECU and Fresno County Transportation Authority Measure C!
The Fair Education Program allows students kindergarten through 8th grade to visit the Fairgrounds FREE of charge in an effort to learn about the Valley’s rich agricultural heritage, as well as experience photography, painting, jam making, machinery, sewing, rock sculpting and more! The Fair Education Program dates are Thursday, October 6; Friday, October 7; Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14.
