National Catfish Day – Learn More About Catfish Falls at The Big Fresno Fair

It’s National Catfish Day! Did you know that during The Big Fresno Fair, the bridge located at The Meyers Water & Wildlife Tree features an impressive two-story waterfall and a “catch and release” fishing hole where you can catch real fish with barbless hooks? Additionally, each year after the Fair, Catfish Falls is drained and all the fish are donated to the Poverello House in Fresno feeding more than 8,500 people in the past 10 years. Attention Entertainers! Apply to Perform at the 2021 Big Fresno Fair!

The 2021 Big Fresno Fair dates are October 6-17, and we are excited to announce that the community entertainment application is now available online.  Here at the Fair we are thrilled to offer an opportunity to feature our own local talent in front of audiences of all sizes. Community entertainer applications must be filled out and submitted online only. The deadline for application submission has been extended to Friday, July 30. Check Out Golden State’s Finest Gadgets at the Fresno Gun Show | June 19 & 20

The Fresno Gun Show is back at the Fresno Fairgrounds in the Commerce Building on Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 20 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.! Tickets are sold at the door for $10. Children 18 and under are FREE! Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Ticket sales begin 30 minutes prior to open and end 30 minutes prior to close. Monster Truck Nitro Tour Update! New Dates & Times

📢EVENT UPDATE!📢 Due to the high temperatures over the weekend, the Monster Truck Nitro Tour have made changes to their show dates. The NEW dates and times for the Monster Truck Nitro Tour are Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19 at 8 p.m. both nights in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand! Purchase tickets online, at the gate the day of the event or at the Fair’s Box Office located at 1121 S. Chance Ave. Ticket purchases at the Fair Box Office are CASH ONLY.

Adult tickets are $23 and kids 3 – 12 are $15. Prices go up the day of the event. Limited number advance tickets starting at $10 are available, while supplies last. To purchase tickets or to learn more about this action-packed event, click here! 

 

**For those who have purchased tickets online for the Saturday 1:30 p.m. matinee show, tickets are automatically valid for the Friday 8 p.m. show. Register or Spectate at Auto Cross | June 19

The Sports Car Club of America, Fresno Chapter is hosting another action-packed weekend of autocross racing at the Fresno Fairgrounds Saturday, June 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your family out to the Carnival Lot on the north end of the Fairgrounds and cheer racers to the finish line or even race your own car! Monster Truck Nitro Tour Invades the Fresno Fairgrounds Sat, June 19!

The Fresno Fairgrounds is being taken over by the nation’s most competitive monster trucks as the Monster Truck Nitro Tour invades the Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 19 for TWO monster truck shows! See these incredible 10,000 lb., car crushing giants compete in racing, wheelie contests, and then rock the house with amazing freestyle action during the Monster Truck Nitro Tour! Plus, meet the drivers and see the trucks up close at the pre-event Autograph Pit Party!

The excitement begins Saturday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m. (matinee) and 7:30 p.m. in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand. Advance discount tickets are available online OR get them at the gate!
